Joe Breeze is regarded as being the first to hand-build the first modern mountain bike and Breezer became known as the first mountain bike brand.  It could be said Breezer was a “first” at many things in  “mountain bikes,” though before making mountain bikes, in 1974 Joe was designing and fabricating custom road-racing bikes.  Breezer’s use of steel and aluminum and his innovations, helped introduce many of the bikes we all enjoy today.  Modern full-suspension mountain bikes’ designs, in many regards, are influenced by Joe Breeze and his designs and developments.  Breezer is one of the longest-operating bicycle manufacturers in the U.S.  Today, Breezer Bikes’ range of bikes includes electric, adventure/mountain, and transportation models.
